TerraVerdae BioWorks develops performance biomaterials and high-value specialty ingredients. We address significant emerging opportunities with environmentally responsible products for the personal care, 3-D printing, high efficiency agriculture and other high growth sustainable markets.
TerraVerdae’s industrial biorefinery platform combines systems biology, bioprocess engineering, and polymer chemistry capabilities to produce high-value, performance biomaterials and high value ingredients. Our novel bioprocess converts waste-derived methanol and/or methane through through a Bioconversion route that allows “waste” to be used as an alternative sustainable starting material to petroleum. These biomaterials are then processed and tuned to specific performance requirements for next-generation advanced bioproducts.
We have recently announced a number of major milestones in our commercial scale up efforts, and have generated significant publicity over our recently released alternative to synthetic plastic micro-beads. We are also planning a number of further announcements in the coming months. We have scaled our process to commercial pilot scale and are developing our process further to full commercial scale. TerraVerdae BioWorks is headquartered in Canada with operations in the US and the UK.
