Warren Mabee

Dr. Warren Mabee (Ph.D. 2001, Toronto) holds a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Renewable Energy Development and Implementation. He is an Assistant Professor at Queen’s University, with a joint appointment in the School of Policy Studies and the Department of Geography. His international research programme focuses on the interface between policy and technology in the area of renewable energy and fuels, addressing issues that bridge the gap between researchers and decision-makers. His past work experiences include stints at the University of British Columbia and the University of Toronto, as well as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Dr. Mabee is currently Associate Task Leader (Policy) for the International Energy Agency’s Bioenergy Task 39 and Director of the Queen’s Institute for Energy and Environmental Policy.
